1:SOCIAL
STRUCTURE
Not all angels are the
same, society of Etherea
has a hierarchy based on
various factors, such as
status, wealth,
authority , influence
and power.
We call this The celestial pyramid
✦ The virtue thronians /the mea vita
➜ The Virtue Thronians, also known as the Mea Vita, are the highest of angels in the hierarchy.
Legend says they descend from the first angels who came to Earth after humanity’s downfall.
How marvelous, isn’t it? They are truly admired for their leadership, knowledge, and skill.
They are the ones who brought forth the renewed world of Aetheria.
When all hope seemed lost,
they took charge, for humanity’s failure could not be repeated. They brought courage, life, and
became masters of willpower.
For this reason, once every millennium, a holiday is held to
celebrate the greatest of the elders who pushed forward to save angelkind when everything looked grim.
The Vita are also the highest in the parliament, often discussing issues of the Aetherian world
such as trade, law, and governance.
A Mea Vita is recognizable by their unusually Multiple hands.
They often possess four or more arms and have a cryptid-like appearance in certain aspects.
The number of wings they bear varies and is considered optional. also referred to ass first class angels
✦ The Eunia
Angels who partake in the bourgeoisie class hold
prestigious positions: doctors, scientists, architects,
dukes, landowners, and lords. They often serve also as
the Vita's advisors and law enforcer, though one must be exceptionally
trusted and loyal to attain such a role.
They have two arms and usually two to four wings.
Often called second class angels
✦ The common angel
The common angel is a normal citizen in Aetheria,
their lives are pretty average.
They most of the time work on farms, or in carpenter shops,
post offices, small blacksmiths, or as street market sellers.
They do not make much, but it is enough to live on.
However, a first-class angel can work themselves to the top
if they work very, very hard.
You can recognize a common angel by the fact that they have
two wings and no less than just normal two arms.
Archive 2: ILNESS
✦ Disease
An angel is not immune to sickness. Various strange diseases can spread through Aetheria, such as the
common flu or molting when they experience heatstroke.
However, a fatal condition often mistaken for a disease is
corrosion, also called the Black Decay. When angels lose
their sense of self and can no longer find purpose in their
existence, longing to return to their past duty as mediators
to humanity, decay begins.
Mental degradation follows, leading them into madness before the complete transformation into
a fallen state takes place. This does not occur without the experience of extensive pain.
✦ Preventions:
Divine Therapy:
Asylums exist for the infected, where they listen to long speeches and talk with therapists about their thoughts.
In these asylums, demonstrations and presentations are held to explain why the world of Aetherea is better than that of
humanity, why moving on is better for angel kind, and what it means to be finally free from duty.
Having once been
eternally chained as guardians of humans, they are now able to make their own choices and follow their own path. Angels
are reminded that they can act freely while reflecting on the consequences of humanity’s fall.
This remedy however is not cheap, if you are not of average wealth, you will most likely not be able to afford it.
For those that cannot get divine therapy, they are left to wither
